In part 1 of this series I explained how to use a smartphone that's equipped with an IR blaster to control electronic devices such as your TV. Part 2 explains how I controlled devices whose IR codes were not found in anymote's database. I connected an IR receiver to an arduino and wrote some code to capture the IR pulses and write them out to a format that the anymote app can import.
